Constant crashing after Saren fight on Virmire(PC Trilogy Version) "Rendering Thread Exception"

Video card: Nvidea Geforce GTX 660
RAM: 32G DDR5

Processor: AMD FX - 8 Core Black Edition

OS: WIN 7

 

  So my biggest problem right now is after the first "fight" with Saren on Virmire, during the cutscene, my game likes to CTD. Up to this point I have had only a few problems so far, the notorius Noveria black box bug(fixed with INI tweaking) and one other  "Rendering Thread Exception", also fixed via INI tweaking, but besides that I haven't ran into anything that I haven't been to work around until now. Sadly I haven't been able to successfully take a screen of the error message after the crash(not really my top priority to figure out how to right now), but I will paste my most recent log report as of today.

Any help that I could get on this would be great, I've been wanting to replay the whole series for a long time now(never had a chance to pay through all three with finished saves before). Thank you for you time, whom ever may read this.

These errors are directly related to texture mods and after market modification to the game. Adding in high resolution textures can significantly effect playability of the game. The addition of such mods can replace key files that were not designed to originally run with the game. If you continue experiencing these issues, repair the installation or reinstall altogether, it may not be worth the presentation if the playability is this greatly impacted.

Additionally you can apply a temporary fix for LAA patch the Mass Effect.exe file to allow use of more than two gb of ram, see if that will prevent the game from crashing, however this may be ineffective due to biopawn collisions which have nothing to due with swap address crashes. the LAA patch can be found here: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/attachment.php?s=c8cee3b4b64c5e6db630775da1b15062&attachmentid=343...

Making changes in the ini files can cause this error, I used to get this error all the time during cutscenes recently, especially when spacing through them, but I seem to have fixed it now:

 

what I did:

1 verified game files.

2 defragmented game folder.

3 stopped running msi afterburner.

It seems the game is sensitive to OSD software hooking into the graphics, like fraps, or other software that hooks into rendering and displays fps etc, also steam/origin overlay could be a cause, but I have it disabled already.

The game was rockstable when it came out, but I suspect newer graphics drivers are not as compatible with it anymore, like Nvidia drivers.
