Bring Down the Sky DLC Key

Hi, 

I would love to play the Mass Effect trilogy but I'm stuck on ME1 since I don't have an official CD key for Bring Down the Sky, Online I read that I should chat with a game advisor, however this option was marked grey and was unclickable. 

My question is, is it possible to get an official CD-Key for BDTS? 
I downloaded the original Install.exe trough EA's website however I'm stuck at entering the CD key. 

I followed the instructions on this page:

But as you can guess I got the activation limit message.

In my mail to EA I attached a picture of my official (Steam) version of Mass Effect 1 and it's CD-key, to show you them it's the real deal and not some pirated version. 

Hoping to get a response from someone so I can continue my journey trough this wonderful universe.

You do not need a key anymore. 

Please follow these instructions to get the Bring Down the Sky DLC:

1. Make sure Mass Effect is installed, then download and run the installer from the following location:
   • English, Spanish, French, Italian, & German 
2. Run the downloaded file to install the new content.
3. A code is no longer required to authorize the installer.

There's another post on this forum linking to the Bioware forums, I'll try some key's from there and see what happens, still tho, they should just put it on Origin under free games... mileyhappy:

My question has solved itself, been in contact with a very friendly EA advisor which gave me a new key, so problem solved...

The probelm is that the "new" setup for windows 7 and 8 has the installation fail if you got the game via direct download, before ME 3 came out.

Thank you, that solved the problem.

Please consider submitting that version of BDTS to either the EA website or Steam; currently only the "English and Spanish" language version is available, and it requires a key.
