I'm here to ask for help!
I've recently re-installed SIMCITY 2013 on my PC, but I always get the same error message: Could not create Graphics Device. DirectX not available.
I've got the latest drivers for my graphic card and same with DirectX (I have 9.0c). Hardware acceleration thingy is also on max. Furthermore, I installed it on the same computer as last time, and I don't remeber having anything changed or the OS re-installed or whatever.
Last year the game ran perfectly. I had some issues with Origin but not with SIMCITY itself. So what happened? Why now? Is it because I downloaded the game from Origin instead of from the CD? (I don't have it here in my new house)
I also read I have to change stuff from dxdiag to active but I don't really seem to be able to change anything (button can't be clicked on). Is this the only way? Or is there else I can do to fix this problem?
Or... is SIMCITY just being dumb because I have Windows XP? (But as I already said, one year ago the game ran perfectly.)
As of now, I'm just confused.
