Will there ever be a neons update for Need for Speed (2015)?

I have been reading some cool news and some rather heart breaking ones.

First there would be neons coming to the game.

Then suddenly I read that there would not.

I am confused.

I will ask the question again and I hope that you will be able to give me a honest answer:

Will there ever be a neons update for Need for Speed (2015)?

Thanks for awesome games! Absolutely love Need for Speed. It was these games that got me into gaming.
