Hi there
There's a small community of offline players looking for Classic ERA Rosters
In the past we've been told about NHLPA and licensing issues. Now that HUT is active with Retro players ...We'd like to see that appear In offline/franchise mode
We even have a great idea to help NHLPA and Retired NHL alumni
@NHLAlumni @NHLPA
The community suggests that DLC Rosters would be a great contribution to the PENSION

We'd really like to see 80s 90s and 00's
Maybe even Original 6 with the Legends of that era

Rammer talk about Classic rosters. EA can't do that , because some ex-NHLer DON"T wan't be a part of game ((((. Some Hockey players don't want see his face in game.

The only reason mainly that player refuse is because they want royalties
EA Sports doesn't want to pay for licensing and royalties
Just the licensing of current NHLPA and CHL
If the roster were Download Content...it would be the buyer who is paying licensing and royalties as well as EA Sports getting their cut

There are alot of gamers who would like to see Classic Rosters in the NHL series

I have done a lot of reaching out and believe it or not NHL ALUMNI and NHLPA have been in contact with myself

I have corresponded with a representative from NHL Alumni and she has specifically mentioned that the idea of having classic rosters is something NHLPA are very interested in
The fact that retired NHL players can earn a royalty fee through licensing intrigues the NHL ALUMNI
Both NHLPA and NHL ALUMNI are in communication with EA Sports.

Also they have links to forums and websites that have discussions involving classic rosters
In fact NHL04 Rebuilt and 2kHS are the reason this is getting as much attention as it is

Unfortunately there is a lot of Trolls who run their keyboard mouths and flood these posts
Discrediting

What I've been asked to do is exactly this....
Ask the users from these forums to leave their support

Believe it or not this is something we can achieve as a group if we have a good response

So all I'm asking is to leave a positive comment regarding Classic Rosters

If you have a negative opinion or something towards another topic please use another discussion post

Thank you for your efforts and comments on this topic and for bringing it up! I play a lot of NHL and i would love to see this happen! Hopefully we see it in a upcoming game.
