Okay so I'm really new to Madden. I started playing on Rookie to learn how and soon enough, every game was a 40+ point blow out. So I switched to Pro and now I can't gain any yardage with any running back, at least none to speak of, and all of my receivers have forgotten how to catch a ball. Even when I lob the ball to open receivers they will drop it more often than not. And a long pass, well that's never gonna happen. The CPU opponent on the other hand makes positive yardage most every play, pass or run, and if it's 3rd and 21, it generally finds that 22 yard pass almost every time. The games are a rout.
I'd love to learn to play this game better but I generally just get fed up and shut the thing off. So my question is, is there a way to change the settings to dumb down Pro or make Rookie more challenging? Right now the game is an unplayable pile of excrement.
Any help would be appreciated.
