Hello everyone, and welcome back to another decklist post. Today we will be looking at a deck that I have seen be able to counter the blob deck, and actually work pretty well as a tempo deck against other deck types. I present you with: tempo solar flare!
Hero: Solar Flare
Decklist:
4x Banana Bomb(1 cost-trick-do 2 damage to a zombie)
4x blooming heart(1 cost-flower plant-2/2, when this does damage, it gets +1/+1)
4x haunted pumpking(1 cost-squash plant-4/2, when played: the zombie player conjures a monster)
4x apple saucer(2 cost-fruit plant-3/2, when played: if you made at least 6 sun this turn, this gets strikethrough)
4x berry blast(2 cost-berry trick-do 3 damage)
4x fireweed(2 cost-flower root plant-3/3, when played on the ground, make hot lava[environment-before combat here: do 1 damage to each plant and zombie here]here)
4x wild berry(2 cost-berry plant-4/1, when played: this moves to a random lane)
4x poison ivy(3 cost-leafy berry plant-1/3, anti hero 4)
4x elder berry(4 cost-flower berry plant-2/4, strikethrough, plant evolution: this gets +3 attack
4x wing nut(4 cost-pea nut plant-3/7, zombies can't do bonus attacks)
Total crafting cost: 14,600 sparks (keep in mind haunting pumpking is not yet craftable, and his crafting cost is not included in this number. If you do not have a full 4 copies, feel free too substitute one of the cards from the list of substitutions down below)
Substitutions:
If you feel as though the deck isn't quite working, here are some possible substitutions:
Astrocado(5 cost-fruit plant-5/3, strikethrough, when destroyed: gain an astrocado pit[1 cost, 0/1, start of turn: this transforms into an astrocado)
solar winds(2 cost-environment-end of turn: if there are no zombies here, make a sunflower here)
morning glory(1 cost-flower plant-2/2, when played: this gets +1/+1 if you made at least 6 sun this turn)
zapricot(3 cost-fruit plant-4/2)
shroom for two(1 cost-mushroom plant-when played: make a 1/1 puff shroom with team-up here)
Strategy:
Like any tempo deck, this deck likes to get out many plants, fast an early, with value(higher total stats[attack + health] than twice the amount of sun the cost) usually. This works very well against zomblob, because that deck takes while to develop, while with this deck, we can win very quickly. This will also even beat normal decks due to its insane speed right out of the gate, as well as the strikethrough/damage spells the deck carries to make sure your damage goes through. Be sure to try it out for yourself, even if its just against a friend who is using a zomblob deck! Good luck, and be sure to report back with your results!

Err.. this was on Fry's channel over 24 hours ago, so I presume you watch him Twitch or Youtube? anyways, you can see it in action on his Youtube, to get an idea how its played. But, I don't think it will beat all Blob players as he tested it again with Gnar Kelly, and Blob can still beat it .. if played in correct way. Can't understand why they made this card so OP.. its going to dominate, which will make it very tedious to play against it and keep losing especially for the newer players who don't have a huge card choice (unless they have lots bucks to spend).
