Madden 17 Xbox One: Ultimate Team Roster

How do you put substitutes in your lineup in your Ultimate Team?  Accidentally erased team  on Draft Champions and had to put all players back.  But, then it would not let any substitutes in besides the required players.  Please help!!  Thank you.
