HACKER WHACKERS

battlefront - if you cannot track the hackers who are spoiling the game for their own amusement at the expense of the rest of us who are trying to play without getting blasted six ways from tomorrow then try harder.
violations include: being imprevious to blasterfire or antipersonnel weapons, playing from out of bounds, impossible one shot kills, making kills even when their is no line of sight shots, having more range and power for pistols and rifles than is claimed, repeated jet pack or weapon use (no recovery time required), etc.

there's no way i or other customers will purchase bf ii if you cannot track and "kill" the hackers more effectively. even when you do, they just reapply under new user names.

if you are tracking all player's k/d ratios, it should be pretty obvious who the hackers are.

basically, they are stealing customers away by discouraging them from playing.

@DogStarryEyes I moved your topic to Star Wars Battlefront section and please don't use Caps Lock since it's  prohibited by AHQ Rules: http://answers.ea.com/t5/help/faqpage/faq-category-id/faq-user-guidelines#faq-user-guidelines

Answers HQ is a player-to-player support forum, you always can report player for cheating: https://help.ea.com/en-tr/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment/

Also, since AHQ is a community support forum, I'd recommend to post similar messages on official Star Wars Battlefront forums https://battlefront-forums.ea.com/

@DogStarryEyes Just fixed that link about how to report cheating. Check it in case if you need to learn how to report.

Thanks IIPrestOnII,

Thanks for the reply.  Apologies for the CAPs but I had difficulty seeing the text otherwise.  Your link for reporting cheating players on Star Wars Battlefront doesn't exit according to the message I got when I clicked on your link.

Hav enoted your message in any case.

Cheers,

DogStarryEyes (trying to heal from the multiple wounds I receive every time I play Battlefront, principally from Hackers.

Stay away from the pc version. The cheating will never stop. Definitely will be buying the new one on the ps4. Way better playing on the ps4. I haven't seen someone get banned in weeks.

Yep, I haven't played in a couple months, first game in and **** is jet-packing around burst killing everyone 100+kills/2 deaths.  I quit, try to join another game, puts me back in the same one.  I'm done.

EA does not care. They could have someone to observe the games ,and ban cheaters accounts. But that would cost them money. Consider the PC version a single player only one. How boring the game gets with cheaters.

It doesn't help reporting to EA. They are abunch of money hungry thugs. Buying Battlefront II is stupidity as long as they does not learn from the gaming community and just go into hiding at their financial advisors office, everytime someone reporting a hacker. I don't see any changes towards that cowardly approach so why putting my money in an anti-banning company. My bet is 20 dollars that they are afraid of losing customers.

I can almost hear the conversation:

Suit nr. 1 :Oh no, someone is complaining about hackers.

Suit nr. 2: Quick hide under the table.

Suit nr. 3: 3 hours later I dont think they noticed anything, lets work on SWBF II.

Suit nr 1: Good idea, that means more mooney for us, because thats what we care about, not the gamers, not people who enjoy good games with Anti-Cheat software.

Suit nr. 2: No for heavens sake no, no Anti-cheat software. We could be sued for violating someones avatar life.

Suit nr 3. Yes, I vote for that.

Why should gamers by Battlefront 2? As long as you guys don't ban players for a long time. I don't think I will buy Battlefront 2, I don't think any one should do that unless you fix this.
