Goalie switch

Say if someone is on a breakaway, how do I change to my goalie and control him? I keep seeing lb and a for Xbox one, but when I try that it doesn't work I'm not sure what it could be.

In settings, you can toggle Goalie Mode. Also this from the manual:

It doesn’t let me toggle goalie mode on. In my settings it is stuff on off and doesn’t let me switch to on!!!!

Hi there, @Dfrag0521.

Which mode are you trying to use this in? It doesn't work in all of them. For example, you can't use it in EASHL, BAP or HUT. You can play as a goalie in EASHL and BAP, but you need to specifically choose that position.
