This thread is a discussion among friends.  And all to often they never stay on topic.  Just be mindful off others as  it is a F1 related thread and don’t have full on conversations about other things 👍

Will be very interesting and hard to call - Alonso one to watch…

@Monzstar83 Doubt it will happen. But Alonso on Pole would be awesome way to start the season

@ScarDuck14 very close Q1 - if it remains like that it’ll be great for the season. Perhaps the drivers will make more a difference now rather than mainly car performance. Brilliant

@Monzstar83 Q2 looks like Red bull have turned up the engine though 😔

5 drivers from 5 teams out in Q1 though

@ScarDuck14 So far only disappointed with Gasly.
Q2 just ended and the other drivers seemed to deliver results in the window we expected.

Mercedes kind of surpassing expectations so far 😅

The 2023 cars outperformed last year's cars by quite a lot even with lifted ride hide! I hope CM notes this trend. Don't slow us down on F1 23.)

@Monzstar83 There's some brewing going on in F1 1.5, that's for sure. RedBulls are miles ahead of everyone on race pace and tyre wear which combined together will result in Max being 3x WDC.

@Blackbird90 The gap isnt as big as it seems, teams were not going 100% with their engines last year at Bahrain and other things too according to David Greco.. So its maybe 3-4 tenths quicker than last year which still is impressive.. We can say more after a few more races to compare it..
