sims 4 mode

so i wanted to play the ugly to beauty challange but when i try and play it it tells me that i cant put the sim in to the household in this game mode and i dont know what i need to do so that i can play the challange

What game mode are you in and how are you trying to add the Sim to an existing household. Also remember that there is a limit of 8 sim per household..

Hi @nyghtwolf20 It sounds like you are 'playing your chosen household' first, then trying to add the new sim via the gallery? You should go via edit household from the main worldview and 'add sim' via Edit Household > Cas > gallery > merge, it should work fine.
