Does anyone know why my Sims career progression bar isn't progressing to level 11 ?

There is a heirloom you need to get first, if you don't know what that is, you should discover it soon.

That's the reason you can't level up just yet.

Heirlooms can either be got once every time you retire a Sim or be exchanged for a special currency, which you can either buy with simcash or (very slowly) acquire while playing.

Im getting a ton of heirlooms but none of them were the ones I need to level up in my career. What can I do to get the ones I need is not even offering them.

The heirlooms you get when your Sims retire are random, so just keep trying

There's also heirlooms being offered in the heirlooms store in exchange for Heirloom Tickets. Have you seen those?

I think you’re looking at a beta version, those posts are from about 10 months back.
