Multiplayer locked

So I decided to get Origin Access to try the game but after downloading it when i try to play online the multiplayer option is locked stating that Origin is offline. Origin is online and my connection isnt the problem since I can play other online titles like Bf1 League of legends and Rainbow 6 so Im confused as to what may be the problem.
