Battlefield 1 progress

Is the progress i make on battlefield 1 in online play linked to my EA account or does it save progress to the game itself? So for example, if i make a new EA account, will i have to start again on battlefield 1 multiplayer or not?

You will have to start again, as the game (and, as a consequence, stats) is tied to the account. To even play BF1 from different account, you will need to buy another copy of the game, which would mean having no progress in it.

You need to start again with your new Account.
Because it's not possible to transfer your Stats between two different accounts!
