The guild leaderboard is the most prominent and universal ranking in the game. Yet guilds tied in points are seemingly arbitrarily ranked differently. I suspect the ranking for tied teams is based on guild database ID, probably related to guild age. However, I haven't seen confirmation from devs that this is the case. This clearly is not a valid tiebreaker strategy for what is the epitome of SWGoH competition. Either all guilds with the same points are shown with the same rank and awarded as such, or a more relevant tiebreaker is used.
For the latter first team to given point total should be ranked best. This would require storing the timestamp of the last raid completion/points awarded for each guild and use that as the secondary sort field.
