Hi,

 

I checked before to download the FIFA 15 game through Origin, that my laptop met the required devices.

Though, i get the following error when I try to start the game

I dont understand.

I updated windows, nvidia drivers, checked on the internet, my laptop should be ok: FIFA 14 had no problems

This solution works for me:

 

Open NVIDIA Control Panel, click 3D Options Edit, preferred GPU, choose "high performance NVIDIA CPU" (for fifa15.exe and I guess fifa15setup.exe)

I'm tired.  Do a search.  I already answered that about 20 times today, 50 yesterday, 50 Saturday, and 20 last Friday.

I actually read couple of answers, all of them saying "your laptop is **bleep**, you dont have Dx11, your graphic card sucks" and so on.

What i'm look for is, however, a real fix to this problem, which is not supposed to appeared dont you think? Are you tired of EA supports on BUGs, not well detailled/explained/fixed --> where is the banner in BIG and RED saying: CAREFUL **bleep** ERRORS LIKE THIS MIGHT APPEAR, before we pay to play a game I do enjoy and I had never have problem with before?

This solution works for me:

I have a NVidia GeForce 344.75 and I still get the "unhandled exception" error.

 

This driver is listed on various sites as compatible for FIFA 15 which is why I bought the game in the first place. Could you please tell me what could be causing the error.

I was feeling very impatient when I wrote that.  No one was simply scrolling a few lines down at all.  Meanwhile, this is a SOLVED thread, meant for reference, not for argument.  Follow that solution, or else write a new thread of your own.
