Hello everyone, I've been having problems being able to continue into the game with out it crashing to the desktop. It always crashes after you select your flag (Language) for the game. I've been searching for a while and I've seen a similar fix like this and tried it and It did not work.
The game is installed on my " D:\ " (Secondary) drive which is where my Origin is installed.
I've tried the folowing:
- Running FIFA15 as an administrator
- Re-installed twice (As well as changing my games folder to my main harddrive for the second install)
- Ran "Repair Game" several times
- Messed around with the game configuration settings.
If anyone could please help me that would be great,
I'll also try and get debug logs as well.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Never mind I found a fix if anyone has a simular issue.
Open up your Start menu > Search "Turn Windows Features" > Media Features > Check Windows Media Player
This is has been tested on Windows 8/8.1 (Dunno about Windows 7)
If you do not have Windows Media Player installed (For 8 & 8.1 users)
Here are the links to them below.

I have posted this is another thread and have just seen this.
I was having this problem and indeed requested a refund on the game.
However, having done a little bug fixing with a Steam game that wasn't starting, I tried FIFA 15 again and applied the same fix:
Turn off MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner Screen Overlay.
and that was it.
Functions perfectly.
Runs great (maxed) on my laptop.

I tried the above fix but it still crashes

what do you mean with "check" ??
March 2015
My game crashes at no specific point like others. It crashes anytime(like during a match, while in the main menu and sometimes just after selecting language too). I tried turning media feature off and on. Didn't help at all.
April 2015
didn't help coz the media player was already ticked
