This is the Anthem game forum, so may be relevant for the future when the game comes out in the fall of 2018. When i switched phones and had an authenticator, it not only needed the same phone number, but it also needs the same phone and its own special ID. (not clue what that is called at the moment, so moving on.)

 

What I had to do, was remove the

1.authentication from my account,

2.uninstall the app, put it back on, 

3. setup the authentication on my account and phone as if i was doing it for the first time.

 

This tied the app back to the phone number and phone.

 

EA may have some better steps than me. Good luck friend!

As to your question, Origin provided you with back up codes for authentication for exactly this case. Do you still have this back up codes?

If so follow @Sassaroth suggestion.
