dragon age inquisition fails to launch

I have played this game through but when decided to replay found it no longer launched in origin after an auto update, have gone through all normal retrys even taken all off computer and reloaded nothing works - suggestions

What do you see when you start the screen? Does it not start up? Does it flicker a black screen and then dissapear? Does it give an error message?
