Origin update 9.9.1 download keeps timing out

What the hell i wrong with this buggy software ?  IT JUST DOESN'T WANT TO UPDATE

I tried every single fix AND IT STILL KEEPS TIMING OUT

WHY IS EA NOT PROVIDING A DIRECT LINK FOR THE INSTALLER ?

I have this same problem. And it is EVERY TIME Origin has an update. I always have to download the full setup file from filehippo or somewhere, but this time i can't find the 9.9.1 version file anywhere. When i try to update Origin using Origin itself it always says it is downloading, but then it will go to the login screen and when i log in it will say that it is in offline mode. when i restart the application, it tries to re-update all over again.

Update your Origin client to the latest Beta version / top left Origin menu / Application Settings - General.

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

Hi. That doesn't work either. The only options I have are full download or reinstall. It's annoying! Yeah its free software but we need it to play our games so EA should fix it!

- clearing hosts file

And then updating your Origin client to the latest Beta version / top left Origin menu, Application Settings - General..

After you have finished make sure you are the administrator, run the setup file Origin with Admin rights.

Restart Origin .
