Origin not working [ Edited ]

So after waiting 12 HOURS for sims 4 to download, I go to open the game and it says origin isn’t working. So I try to install origin from origin.com and then it said windows doesn’t recognize and tells me to make sure it’s spelled correct? And then my origin app wasn’t letting me in, saying it didn’t recognize the shortcut. I would really like an answer to this problem because like I said, I waited a whole 12 hours for sims to download and now origin isn’t working.

It sounds like something is blocking Origin @alyssanic0le.

Best thing to do is go ahead and disable your anti-virus and firewall and try again. If it works then great, you just need to add an exception for Origin to both.

If it does not work then please let me know and we will take it from there.
