Basically, my laptop is properly connected to the internet (I am posting this from my laptop now) but Origin cannot access it for some reason. This problem occurs when attempting to start Origin. The laptop is brand new, has up-to-date drivers and runs windows 10.
I have seen this problem a lot during some google search. e.g http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Origin-won-t-connect-to-internet-even-though-I-have-an-int... and http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Origin-won-t-connect-to-internet-even-though-I-have-an-int...
However, the very complicated (!) solution did not work for me and after 2 hours of frustration I gave up and reïnstalled. This worked, however today it gave this message again. Origin is not blocked by windows firewall and I currently have no other anti malware software installed.
Origin is supposed to be a game launcher so it not starting defeats its whole purpose. It is preventing people from playing the games they have paid for, so I hope this issue will be on top of your list.
