Is this only for PC/Mac

I have an Xbox one and for Christmas I was given a $25 cash card. I was trying to buy another expansion pack for the game “city living” after I blindly redeemed the card bought “city living” and tried to redeem the code to play on my games turns out the version is for pc/Mac is there anyway I can get my money back or the one for the Xbox one. Also is the cash card only for pc/Mac games?? I’m starting to think my dad purchased the wrong gift card.

Hi @SuperheroJace-x. 

Was this an Origin gift card? If so, I'm afraid that would only work for Origin on PC/Mac and not just Xbox. If you take a look at the card itself does it say that it's for the Origin store?
