[INFO] Classic EA PC titles now available on Steam [ Edited ]

Hi everyone, 

We are pleased to announce that some classic EA PC games are now available for purchase on Steam! 

Check out the full list of titles added to Steam below: 

• Populous

• Populous: The Beginning

• Populous II: Trials of the Olympian Gods

• Dungeon Keeper Gold

• Dungeon Keeper 2

• Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri Planetary Pack

• SimCity 3000 Unlimited

• The Saboteur

• Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection

Please note that we have identified some known issues and workarounds for a few of the titles included in the list above. 

Read on for more details:

Command & Conquer: Renegade

• The game will not run in resolutions higher than 1080p. You will need to select 1920x1080 or lower to play the game.

Command & Conquer and Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations

• When the game language is set to Japanese, only the audio and mission briefings will be localized.

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun and Command & Conquer Firestorm

• The game is only partially localized for Spanish. C&C Firestorm was not officially translated.

The following only applies if you've been playing Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection in the EA app prior to March 7th. 

With the game update released on March 7th, the save data location has changed. In order to continue using existing saves after downloading the update, you will need to rename a few folders. 

Note: The standalone EA app versions of Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath are not affected. This only applies if you were playing these titles as part of The Ultimate Collection. 

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars

• Change folder names from Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars to Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars in the following locations:

  • C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

  • C:\Users\<user name>\SavedGames\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

  • C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars/Profiles

Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath

• Change folder names from Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath to Command & Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath in the following locations:

  • C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath

  • C:\Users\<user name>\SavedGames\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath

  • C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath/Profiles
