I bought Command and Conquer DLC from a local store.
They did not tell me it did not work on Windows 8.1.
I discovered this after trying to get the games to work.
I tried all the suggested fixes.
Now I am getting a refund (Credit) at the store, but want to delete these useless games off my library.
Also, your 24hour help line, isn't.

Hello @Speedhump23
Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2
And have you tried this step, right click on the game in Origin, select Game Properties, and tick disable Origin In Game.
All my best.
