Trouble with adding the game to origin.

I've got a package version of Dragon Age Origins from my cousin, however it had missing the manual and therefore the activation code. I just used one code I found on internet to activate the game (NOT KEYGEN), however I cannot register the game on Origin since I don't have the code and the ones on internet don't work, thus I'm unable to buy the Awakening expansion so I'd like to know whether there is a way for me to activate the game without the need to purchase it through Origin.

If your game didn't have the activation code inside, then I don't think there is a way to get the expansion. The only thing I can suggest is to try and get your money back from whomever/wherever you bought it from and get a different copy of the game.

Well getting the money back isn't possible since I got it for free from my cousin. Well I'll try and get the full game on origin on sale
