Running game on version 1.0.0.0; should I expect bugs?

I purchased the retail DVD version of the game from GameStop and installed it without patching it. Game runs well on ultra settings (MSAA disabled) and no crashes so far. This is on single player mode. I do not want to update this game due to reports of seriously flawed patches. Will I be fine running the game on its launch version or will some quests be bugged?

short answer, yes, and do not install the updates/expansion.

most players experienced worse issues after the patch and hotfix.

if you sare using amd, update your drivers to 14.12

if you are using nvidia, roll back drivers to 344.65, 

and do a clean, custom install, and do not install 3d, audio, or experience.

only the main graphics driver and physX.

I'm running on the 344.80 WHQL drivers with no 3D or GeForce Experience. I also disabled Origin in-game. I do have RivaTuner OSD on, though. Will this become a problem later on? I get occasional fps drops during intense fight scenes, but it's nothing major and only due to high GPU usage. Optimization is of no concern at this point and hopefully I will not experience crashes. And yes, my PC is very capable of running the game. I get CPU and RAM usage similar to what I get in Battlefield 4 campaign mode and they average around 40-50% usage. Specs:

i7-4790k @ 4.0 GHz (stock)

EVGA GTX 970 SSC (334.80 WHQL drivers)

8 GB RAM
