I know this mind sound stupid, but I tried all steps nothing helped, so I was a little bit frustrated, since it didnt work. Just for the LoLs, I closed Origin and right click and run as Administrator; this may sound weird, but I have full Admin rights on my PC, and never thought this might be th solution for my situation.
**bleep**, it actually worked, I can play and I m ok with the game, but only player the prologue and 10mins afterwards, still need to check if I can recommend it or not.
Dont know if this soluition works for everyone, but helped me, just give it a try, hopefully it works for you guys.
Good Luck

I can't seem to find where you contact an online EA rep about a refund. I'm one of those people who saw nothing about the game not working on dual-core PC's and even though my PC is far advanced from the quad-core requirements, I'm stuck with nothing workable after the in-game saving presentation screen. I paid $75 including sales tax and cannot find anywhere to request a refund...the one place says I have no games eligible for a refund, which I find insulting after spending nearly 6 hours trying everything I could think of to make it work. I have 5 gigs of video ram, 6 gigs of PC ram, a 3.00ghz CPU but only 2 cores so what option do I have in procuring my deserved refund?
Thank you for any help...from anyone

I found something that worked for me and may only work for a few people. I have physical copies of the cd for my PC, so instead of downloading from the internet(which they really trick you to do), I managed to find a way to install from the CD's and it worked.

You can easily circumvent the tendency of Origin to do that by either telling it run in offline mode, or temporarily simply unplug the Internet connector.
