dragon age 2 will not get passed the date check, how do I get it to work?

when I try to get my game up and running, it will not get passed the release date check.

It says....

An error occurred during your online release date check.  Click RETRY to try again. (I have done this numerous times)

If the error persists, please click CANCEL to abort the process and find a solution at the support website

I have done this many times as well.  I have registered my game and on my profile it says that both dao and da2 are registered.

by the way... this is also happening with dao as well.  Can you help? What am I doing wrong?
