@winsoho Moved to the appropriate forum. 
Have you made sure you have write permissions for the save folder? By default the folder is [user] > My Documents > Bioware > Dragon Age 2 > Characters. Make sure this folder and all its parent folders are not set to read only. It may also help to run both the game and Origin as an administrator.
