Dragon Age 2 patch not loading with message game not installed....

I recently purchased the add ons for dragon age 2 and to play them I was instructed to download a patch but when I tried to download the patch, I got the message that Dragon Age 2 was not installed and to reinstall the game even though it is still installed...help?

@imreallyrotten11 Are you using the Origin version of the game? If so, can you try running Origin's repair option?

Right-click the game panel to get this repair option then check if the issue persists.
