Dragon Age 2 PhysX Initialization error

So I just downloaded DA2 since I'm just getting into the series.  I have the most up to date PhysX and it's Legacy counterpart for these games (and have uninstalled/reinstalled them multiple times) and even after restarting my computer when I try to open DA it gives me an error along with the first loading screen that reads

"Error initializing PhysX. Please check/update your drivers. Visit nividia.com/physx for updated versions."

Please help!
