Act 1 - Night Lies quest not triggering

While in Act 1 doing some other quests in Hightown at night, I noticed that my characters were saying that gangs were about, but I looked in the different areas and never saw them. I think I remember fighting them before this, but nothing really came of it after they died. Now, it looks like I may have the bug where the one guy gets stuck behind a statue? Well, now I can't even get them to mention the gangs anymore and I can't get the event to trigger. I'm at the end of Act 1 now, right before leaving with Bertrand. Is there some way to fix this before I have to leave?

I'm sorry to say, but it seems that you're out of luck. You could try to fix this by loading a much earlier save before the bugged thug in question was due to spawn, but I suspect that this would be far more effort than it's worth.
