[FIXED]Dead Space 3 press any key to start not working [ Edited ]

Was a hardware issue, new keyboard did the trick.

Just bought the Awakened DLC, go to play and the game refuses to recognize any keyboard or mouse clicks.

I can move the cursor, ALT+Tab out of the game, open in game origin, but the game itself fails to recognize me pressing any keys. Just stays stuck on the "Press any key to continue".

I have re-installed both the game and the DLC

disabled in game origin

manually switching to windowed mode via System text file

Re-stared my PC

so far noting works.

Please help. thank you.

very same problem on Steam with deadspace 2. Tried everything and nothing works. bugger. If there's a way to force usb keyboard recognition, please tell us.
