Origin in game, says it must be turned on? Still not working.

How I "fixed" it is this way:

• turned on windowed borderless
• resolution to my screen
• alt-tab to what i need

Not the best answer but its the only i could find that works for me

Had this problem too. The cause in my case was the the Raptr app (AMD Gaming Evolved client), which uses an ingame interface and prevents Origin's from working.

Hi all. Found this v frustrating in DS3 but fixed it by:

1) Uninstalling Origin

2) Downloaded full version of Origin. Didn't install straight away tho.

3) Ran a utility to remove all temp system files. In my case this was System Mechanic.

4) Installed Origin as Administrator.

Key seems to be removing all traces of any previous Origin installation.

Ok if your using any Game Booster with Origin .. nine times out of ten it will not work so what you can do it to remove any games from Origin in your game booster and run it separately by launching the booster first before launching your game and then manually starting your game afterwards. I hope this helps anyone out there having trouble with Origin ingame

THANK YOU terminalDe, after reading through all the old posts, i skipped to the end to find more recent posts and bang! raptr was indeed the issue. Probably the same reason I couldn't access origin ingame with ME3 or sim city as well though I haven't tried either yet, I'm sure those should work now. big thanx man, this was driving me bananas and I.m a crazy old coot as it is....I don't need to be any crazier lol.

Tried everything that has been discussed in this thread and still nothing. It would be real nice if someone from EA would actually recommend something as opposed to just letting the thread blaze on.

Yeah I just check with origin and they believe it something on there side that causing the problem with the origin overlay that might have something do do with the recent update ... in the mean time .. try making a new admin account following these steps
