Infinite loading screen after dying in co-op [PC]

Every time someone dies in our co-op game the game gets stuck at the loading screen. Its only fixed by us both restarting the game.

I am suffering from this too. But once I disconnect (using ALT F4), my co op buddy finishes loading without problems. Until I disconnect we are both stuck.
Come on EA! Fix this.
