GTX 960m low settings + freeze when changing vsync or res.

★ Apprentice

Getting 30 fps or less on high settings (shadows set to just soft) and 1080p vsync turned off.

I have a Lenovo Y700, brand new, just got yesterday.

Specs:

  • Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ
  • Nvidia GTX 960M, 2 GB
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM
  • 1TB HDD

Also the game freezes whenever I change the resolution or vsync when I'm in fullscreen mode.

Go to Power Options in Windows Control Panel and set High Performance as the power plan.

In the nvidia control panel, under Manage 3D Settings, set Prefer maximum performance for the Power management mode.

Let us know if these steps help you at all, thanks.

Thanks for the quck answer but I figured that out on my own. But still I keep getting freezed over when I change resolution or turn v-sync off/on.

In Origin, click on the Origin menu, Application Settings, Origin In-Game, set the Enable Origin In-Game switch to off.

Retry the game and let us know if you still see the same freeze on setting change, thanks.
