what in the exact * is going on with this game?

i buy a copy of the game for my friend and his version is working perfectly

however i can't even start the * game without it crashing to my desktop.

I've played this game for the past 2 years with no problem, now all of a sudden it wont even start.

Have you already tried to re-install the game or the whole Origin client with the latest version? It would be good to know what kind of error message you are getting as well as to get some details about your hardware specifications.
