Coop mode with only a game console

Hello,

I have a PS3 game console with two Dualshock 3.

I would like to know if it is possible to play Dead Space 3 in co-op mode online using just my game console. I suppose I should connect online against my own console and invite myself to play. Is it possible or online co-op mode must always be done connecting against another PS3 game console?

To answer your question, it is not possible to run the COOP of DS3 in a local mode. You are not able to host a game and join with a second player on the same console, you would need two consoles at the same place (and of course two TV's).
