[Window Title]
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Red Alert II\Ra2.exe
[Content]
Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer Red Alert II\Ra2.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
[OK]
I get this error when trying to launch red alert 2 from origin via command and conquer ultimate edition
I am running win7 64bit
edit-there is a virus in the download
"virus.win32.suspic.gen" - this is the exact virus that is in the download.
Download at your own risk untill ea can get this fixed

Ok this is what it is.
There is a virus attached to the red alert 2 download through origin (c&c ultimate)
Actually 2 viruses each attached to the exe files 'ra2' and 'uri'
so either let the virus have your pc and play ra2 or dont play ra2
this seems to me a pretty serious issue.
i have downloaded 2 times and tried the repair install. each time my antivirus screams at me.
i turned off my anti virus and game works fine but the virus is real ( i had to recover my harddrive)

I am having the same issues. I move the virus's to the "quarantine" section but i cant install the game after I download it.

This is some serious BS.
Spend 50$ on a game...turns out to be a virus.
Anyone who reads this download at your own risk until ea does something about it

Chill, guys. Whatever this is this is most assuredly not a virus. It may look like one to your antivirus but it's most likely just some sloppy programming.

No. It is a real virus.
I found out the hard way. Had to restore my pc.
Please atleast read what i wrote before posting as i already said this.

Hmm... My apologies, you're right. Somehow EA must have gotten its servers infiltrated.
Edit: I asked EA_Cire the C&C community manager for further info/clarification. I'll post what he says here, if he answers.

hopefully this gets fixed soon and the virus doesnt do too much harm
one positive is the virus is older and i dont see how any decent anti virus program wouldnt catch it

I just installed it from Origin, no issues. Ran my antivirus and a few mal-ware checkers and nothing was found. At what point, when downloading and installing from Origin, did your computer tell you that you had a virus?
