Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun freezes at the menu, won't open campain/skirmish/options anything, just freezes please help.

I have the same problem with Tiberian Sun and Firestorm. I'm using windows 8. Is that a problem??

Im Using 10 and it command and conquer and red alert freeze every ten min but work. Tiberian sun, and  Firestorm  wont show whats on the menu buttons
