Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour - Windows 10

1. Clean install of Windows 10
2. Clean install of C&C Generals (non-origin install, original CD)
3. Install Zero Hour
4. Updated to latest patch
5. Used no-cd patch to bypass the secdrv driver error
6. Game works!

How do you do steps 4 and 5?????

The copy of my game worked in August and September, but in the timeframe of the past two months it has stopped working. It repeatedly gives me the serious error dialogue box. I do not understand why it would stop working suddenly. I have tried/explored several fixes including the options.ini fix, reinstallation, and possible registry corruption. Has anyone else experienced this recently?

I'm literally having the same issue as well i tried running it last week and it worked perfectly i tried to play it again a week later and i get the same exact error the only possible thing i can think of is the EA orgin update i did the other day

The Ultimate Collection doesn't benefit from no-cd patches; it's already no-cd.
