CnC 3 won't launch with Windows 10

Hi

I just downloaded CnC 3 and its expansion, but when I try to launch I get the following error:

A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (8016).

Hello @Bsdreeper,

Please try repairing the game by right clicking on it in origin and pressing "repair game". When its finished, try launching it again.

There is no option to repiar.

@Bsdreeper That's interesting alright. When you click the panel do you get the Play option or an option to reinstall or download anything?

Can I check that your Origin is fully up to date/you're playing an Origin version of the game?

When I click the panel I get the play option, when I click play I get the load image and the error.

Origin is up to date and I recently bought the two games on Origin.

@Bsdreeper Thanks. Can you try launching the game from the Origin games folder instead? Go to Origin Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and launchCnC3.exe.

If you try launching it in XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode does that change anything?

Thanks. Can I ask what anti-virus program you use? Can you try temporarily disabling it then try to launch the game, and see if the issue persists. This should be a good indicator whether your AV is a factor or not. 

If the option persists can you post a link to your dxdiag?
