Raid rewards at top 3 ranks

First in my life, i have finished the pit raid tier7 at rank3. The rewards show for this rank, that i will have 8 solo shards, 570k credit, 1000 guild currency, and a H1-01 and H1-02 box. For me this means, that I will get twice as much items as i usually do, because on rank 4 i get 2 items, usually 40 pieces, 16 pieces of something.
Now i got the same for rank 3: 40 scanner pieces, and 16 for a useless item.
Is this normal? Because it is, i'm pretty disapponted... Then why does the reward says two boxes.
Im in the guild BBF, and i got the reward at ~11pm cet. And im Manoman in game

If you go to the possible rewards it will show you what it's possible to get.

Some of the items crossover between the two boxes.

So basically, It will not give me more pieces, only the variety is more, although it is still strange for me, I really thought that I will get 2 boxes...
