Military Might event....to hard ?

Hi,the Military Might event battle is to hard or there is a bug.I'm level 80 with buffed up characters.I get to the final combat: # 8 with all my characters intact.Then the Royal Gards attack non stop without defending myself and when it gets to the Emperor's turn he kills them off one by one without even been able to attack myself.

It is way too effing hard. I have a level 85 Biggs, Wedge, Lando and Akbar and a 79 Leia and I get to wave 8 with little to no problems. Then Bam! The Crimson Stooges get in 6 turns to my 1 and they ALWAYS stun and slow me. Most of the time I only have 1 character left that can still attack and Emperor A-hole 1 hit kills him before his turn. It is not "Very Hard" it is "F'ING RIDICULOUS".
