First, I would try to delete and reinstall. Maybe it asked if that level one was yours and you missed it. (If it does, say no. When it says you're about to create a new Springfield choose new.) If however, you are logged in the second time and it never asks you those questions, you will need to contact ea. I would also contact some of your neighbors to see if they see your old town. At least you'll know it's still there.
