Tapped out Crash on startup [ Edited ]

After I tapped to play my world, presents drop from the sky briefly and then the game just hangs and is unresponsive. This issue occurs on both my iPad and iPhone.

I cannot progress in the game and have deleted and re-downloaded the app

Please advise
