Randomly reverting to home screen.

I've been playing Tapped out for some time now, managed to achieve level 36, but for the last couple of days whenever I'm moving around my Springfield to find characters who don't have missions, the screen randomly snaps to the iPad home page / app selection screen.

It has been doing this when I travel to the Krustyland game for weeks, but it has now started to do it randomly in my Springfield as well.
