Going to krustlyland turns off the app/

I'm at level 33, and have started krustyland, but I am at the 2d quest. I need to have Cleatus work the ring toss, but whenever I got to krustyland I read the homer / krusty dialog and then the app freezes and turns off. It's been doing this all day.

I've read online that Krustyland has problems with the Halloween update, is that true? Do I have to wait until nov 8 to develop krustyland?

Any help would be appreciated.
